There are many Garden enthusiasts, Vegetable Growers & Garden holders in BJ, who enjoy and happy growing a multitude of species for visual displays, or to supplement the weekly vegetable requirements of the family. Many others simply choose to grow the best , the biggest, the tastiest, the heaviest etc, some of us have may have a simple or small window box, others have large gardens with greenhouses, cold frames and cloches others rent allotments from the BJPC. Which ever is the category you personally may fit into, there is little doubt that you are one of many with an interest in "growing your own"
