How can I make a post in the forums?
Many of our users have said that posting in the forums is tricky for them, and we're going to show you just how easy it really is! All it consists of is clicking a few buttons, writing your message and then saving your post. Sorted!
Step 1
Open up the forums by clicking on the Main Menu link, and then choose the most relevant forum to place your topic in. In this case we're choosing the Burton Joyce forum.
Step 2
Once we're in the right forum, we need to make a new post. To do this, click the "new topic" icon that looks like this:
You can find this in the top left of the forums, and also at the bottom left as well:
Step 3
Now all we do is choose the subject of our post, and then write the "message" or text of our post. You can use the formatting icons that appear above the text box just as you would in a word processor.
Step 4
Now click the "save" button in the bottom right, and this looks like this:
Your post will now have been saved and published into the relevant forum:
You'll be able to see it almost instantly. However, if there's a lot of people on the site then be prepared to wait a few minutes until our servers update.
