Parish Council Watch 05/02/10 

I visited BJ library on the  04/02/10 particularly to see just whaty was the situation there relative to the BJPC Minutes (appararently there should be upto date copies of  Minutes filed there).

Yes there was are some minutes on file there, up to 17^th January 2008 and then there is  an obvious gap up to             

Draft FGP – dated 01/09/09

Draft PC – dated November 09

Draft PC dated December 09

Now what is peculiar is that the absence of similar minutes on the website -   or is it really when ?

PC November  minutes in the Library  reveal -  that in the private session of the meeting

item 09/129 b)Cllr Cluff proposed the purchase of a utility vehicle for the council’s use (this  was approved) with an allocation from the PC Budget of £5000  

Item 09/140 Wind Turbine proposal

Iii) It was agreed to allocate 10 meeting in the Poplars pavilion for the working party’s use

iv) It was agreed to commission a specialist report  at up to £500 - It was agreed to allocate £150 for secretarial assist   

v) It was agreed to produce a newsletter  for distribution to every house hold in BJ at approx £150

 

Now this is obviously in addition to the £500 + already allocated ( or spent) in producing publicity banners and hiring the VillageHall for the November at which only 150 or so villagers out of the population of approx 4000 attended—
